The entire process takes less than one hour, with the impressions themselves created within just 15 minutes. Our soft and gentle silicon putty ensures maximum comfort throughout, making the experience as pleasant as possible for you.
Our impression process
First, the ear canal and ear drum will be examined with an otoscope. If there is wax in the ear canal, this would need to be removed before the impression can be created. For small amounts of wax there is no additional charge and this can be removed directly. For excessive wax, there will be an additional charge of £30 and the impressions may have to be created at a second appointment. To create the best impression, a protective buffer is carefully placed in front of the eardrum to ensure its safety. Then, a two-compound silicon mixture is gently injected via a syringe into your ear canal. This special mixture precisely moulds to the unique shape of your ear and dries into a semi-flexible silicone form. Once set, the impression and buffer are carefully removed.

These personalised molds offer superior comfort and effectiveness compared to generic options.
